The first leg of our California tour has just concluded. Our first day was spent in Santa Cruz. We played at the Crepe Place, a quaint charming place, where Adam, the owner, treated us to the house crepes. It was a small turnout that in effect made the intimacy of the event even more memorable. Even more memorable was, in particular, a drunken Gabe who fainted, or pretended to do so, about 10 times. The next day we spent the day at the beach in Monterey Bay and the boardwalk. We visited jovial Sea Lions, that longed to sing a yelping chorus to us.

we spent some time at the Arcades on the boardwalk playing Miss Pacman, NASCAR racing, Frogger, skeeball, and dance Revolution.

a good day all around. then we were off to Fresno to meet up with Rademacher. ...then....
