Cal has told me a story that has made me smile. I am currently recounting this hilarious story as I sit in the remnants of my sickly self. Memories are what you hold on to most in times of illness. I did an interview yesterday with some paper, with someone I have interviewed with before, and the guy referred to me as the 'boy in the bubble'. I feel like Woody Allen in the wrong film. Ryan and Diego have been taking care of themselves respectively, running, riding the fixies, yuca tawks. Makes me feel like I rarely see the sun, enclosed, reading and writing, watching movies, keeping my unhealthy distance from the world. I just found a helmet. May take the moped out for a ride today. We are readying our official inaugural show at the Echoplex in Echo Park, CA this Tuesday. We are very jumpy. Rehearsals are getting better and as new songs emerge and old songs get revisited we find ourselves in a very exciting place! We are working on some paintings and artwork which we'll hang around our studio. The place is looking really good now.
